THE INNU NIKAMU FESTIVAL UNVEILS THE FULL LINEUP FOR
ITS 42nd EDITION
Mani-utenam, July 2nd 2026– The Innu Nikamu Festival, presented by Hydro-Québec in collaboration with Aluminerie Alouette and SiriusXM, with support from MFQ and powered by Sept-Îles Toyota, is proud to unveil the full lineup for its 42nd edition. The event will take place from July 31 to August 2, 2026, at its usual iconic venue in Mani-utenam.
True to its mission of promoting Indigenous cultures, this year’s Festival features a lineup that brings together big names in Indigenous rock and music with a thriving new generation of Innu artists. Here are the confirmed artists who will perform on one of the two stages at the venue:

The Festival will also showcase up-and-coming Indigenous artists through two dedicated programs: Young Talents (formerly Innustar), which brings emerging artists to the stage, and Spotlight on Up-and-Comers, which will feature Lucas Petiquay and two up-and-coming Innu artists worth discovering.
“For this 42nd edition, we will present a program that reflects the spirit of Innu Nikamu: vibrant, unifying, and deeply rooted in our territory. By welcoming big names in rock, powerful voices in Indigenous music, and a thriving new generation of Innu artists, we’re creating a space where generations come together, cultures are shared, and Innu pride continues to shine—in an atmosphere that’s both understated and festive. “This is an invitation to families, communities, and the public to experience, here in Mani-utenam, a moment of music, remembrance, and celebration,” emphasizes Normand Junior Thirnish-Pilot, director of the Innu Nikamu Festival.
The 42nd edition of Innu Nikamu promises to be a unifying event, embodying pride, diversity, and cultural transmission. The festival invites people from all walks of life to celebrate music and the fusion of Indigenous and non-Indigenous cultures coming together to celebrate.

ABOUT INNU NIKAMU FESTIVAL
The mission of the Innu Nikamu Festival is to promote and celebrate Innu culture through music, dance, song and the arts. The Festival aims to bring together the Innu communities of Quebec and Labrador, as well as other Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, in a spirit of sharing and respect. The Festival takes place every year in August in Mani-utenam, on the North Shore. It is also recognised as one of the largest alcohol-free festivals in Canada.
