Studio TD presents concerts by Tina Leon and Kanen

Two new free concerts of Série Libre presented by TD


Montréal, February 28, 2023 – As part of Série Libre presented by TD, Studio TD will present free concerts by Tina Leon on March 22 and Kanen on April 6 at 8 p.m.

Série Libre presented by TD is a driver of social change that gives diverse local talents an opportunity to perform in a professional context. Thanks to this initiative, like Naomi, Hanorah and Magi Merlin, Tina Leon and Kanen will each present a large-scale concert, in addition to recording a song and a video portrait showcasing their music and creative process, in order to support the growth of their career.

Tina Leon is a Montreal singer-songwriter inspired by the Motown generation and by the soul music of the last few decades. She has sung and collaborated with Stevie Wonder, DJ Champion and Garou under the name Marie-Christine Depestre. She is now back in a new light, more authentic and lively than ever. Her new stage name is the nickname that her family gave her and a tribute to her maternal grandmother, as well as a way to fully express her personality, her art, and the balance she wants to find.


2022–2023 Radio-Canada Revelation Kanen is a rising star on the Quebec scene. She is heading out on tour with a new show featuring her punk rock/alternative/indie folk music and her brand of complex, emotionally charged poetry.
