Rêve and Banx & Ranx join the FMG Late Nights festivities!

Gatineau, June 5, 2023 - The FMG Late Nights, a new concept for the 36th edition, promises a festive atmosphere every evening from Friday to Sunday. After the last show on the Loto-Québec Stage, head on over to the Hydro-Québec Stage around 10:30 pm to keep the party going and dance the night away with hip-hop, dance and electro artists.

BANX & RANX

On Friday, September 1st, Montréal DJ duo Banx & Ranx kick off the FMG Late Nights with the very first electronic music show in the festival's history! As producers, songwriters and artists, the duo have amassed over two billion streams and over a billion views on YouTube. With their success being felt all over the world, they co-write and produce tracks in 3 languages (French, English and Spanish), as well as collaborating with renowned artists such as Dua Lipa, Sia, Alessia Cara, Nicky Jam, J Balvin, David Guetta, Ellie Goulding and Sean Paul, to name but a few. With a musical style all their own, known as “ECM”, the acronym for “Electronic Caribbean Music”, festival-goers are sure to be swept up into the warmth of the night.

RÊVE

Montreal-born Rêve has emerged as one of the most promising dance-pop singer-songwriters of her generation with her impeccable voice and incredible stage presence. With over 110 million streams to her numerous hits, she has topped the charts with "CTRL + ALT + DEL" - for which she won several awards, including dance recording of the year at the 2023 JUNO - and "Whitney", which reached the top of American dance radio. Influenced by Pop and R&B music, Rêve's art aims to inspire, empower and highlight the importance of treating ourselves and the world around us with respect. Rêve will be performing the FMG Late Nights closing show on Sunday, September 3rd.

CLAY AND FRIENDS

As announced at the press conference, the boundless energy of Clay and Friends promises to energise the La Baie Park during the FMG Late Night on Saturday, September 2nd. Expect a hard-hitting mix of hip-hop, soul and funk, backed by the kind of prose that has come to be known as La Musica Popular de Verdun. Acclaimed for their high-octane live shows, the group, which has racked up over 30 million streams, was named Révélation Radio-Canada Chanson 2020-2021.
