Pour toi Flora synopsis
Pour toi Flora tells the story of two young Anishinaabe (Algonquin) who are now trying to make peace with their painful residential school past. We follow them from the heartbreaking moment when, as children, they were torn away from their parents by the Oblates in the 60s, to the traumas that haunt them all these decades later. This dramatic miniseries weaves together the different eras of their lives, as well as those of their loved ones, running in parallel in each episode to tell the story of the breakup of Indigenous families who passed through the residential schools, and how they sometimes manage to repair themselves.
