Gatineau, QC – Mark your calendars! The Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival is thrilled to welcome festivalgoers for its opening night on Thursday, August 29th with world-renowned artist and recent Juno Awards winner, Charlotte Cardin, as the headline.
Music lovers will be treated by an exciting weekend filled with performances by top artists including country star and three-time CCMA Artist of the Year Dallas Smith, Jonathan Roy and Dave Fenley, and a selection of DJs who will keep the energy high throughout the weekend.
Don’t miss out the Desjardins Family Day, a special day dedicated to creating unforgettable memories for families. On Monday, September 2nd, from 10:30 am to 5 pm, children aged 10 and under can enjoy a world of fun activities – free of charge! From exciting stage shows to interactive experiences, there's something to entertain every little adventurer.

On this special day, as well as on Saturday, August 31st, and Sunday, September 1st, the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival will be packed with family-friendly activities. Here’s a sneak peek of what you can look forward to: hot air balloons lift-offs, the mesmerizing night glow, a stunning multimedia show, a fireworks display, the Beauce Carnaval amusement park, a wrestling gala, dance lessons, a silent disco, a car show, an escape game, inflatable games, kid’s face painting, a mobile arcade, martial arts demonstrations and even more!
