Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival Lifting Off With
An All-Star Lineup Including Smash Mouth
Gatineau, QC – The Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival (FMG) is thrilled to announce that the GRAMMY-nominated and multi-platinum selling Californian rock Band Smash Mouth will hit the stage on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026.
With hits that resonate across generations, Smash Mouth sold millions of records worldwide and earned multiple platinum certifications and a GRAMMY nomination.
Bursting onto the global stage in the late 1990s, the band helped define a generation of pop culture. Smash Mouth quickly became a household name with chart-topping hits like ‘’All Star’’, ‘’Walking on the Sun’’ and their iconic re-imagining of ‘’I’m a Believer’’. Their music dominated radio and major film soundtracks, like the Shrek franchise.
Smash Mouth is all about sing-along choruses, a festive energy, and a crowd that jumps into the party from the very first notes.
5-day passes are now available for $69.99 (plus taxes and fees) as part of Wave 1 pricing. A limited quantity of passes is available at this price before the next wave. Tickets are on sale at fmg2026.ca.
The Festival will announce the first artists to join Smash Mouth for the 2026 edition of the FMG on March 23rd at 7 am live on its Facebook page. Featuring five nights of shows for every taste, the 39th edition of the FMG, presented by Loto-Québec in collaboration with Desjardins, promises a lively festival experience from September 2nd to 6th, 2026!
