Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival:
It starts tomorrow with a massive opening night!
Gatineau, QC – The Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival team is ready to kick off its 37th edition in an exceptional way! We’re expecting the biggest Thursday in the Festival's history, as Laurence Nerbonne and Charlotte Cardin will perform at Loto-Québec Stage, promising a vibrant opening night.
FMG organizers remind everyone wishing to attend the evening to purchase their tickets online as soon as possible, as quantities are selling out quickly. Additionally, festival-goers are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they don’t miss their favorite artists on stage, given the high anticipated turnout. On Thursday, August 29, the Festival site gates will open at 5 pm.
The FMG will continue until Monday, September 2, with a host of shows and activities for the whole family. Performing on stage will be: Dave Fenley and Dallas Smith (Friday, August 30), Bleu Jeans Bleu and Salebarbes (Saturday, August 31), Souldia and guests as well as IAM (Sunday, September 1) and much more!
A NEW HOST JOINS THE FMG TEAM!
Nicolas Ouellet joins as a host for the Festival weekend, supporting our spokesperson, Patrice Bélanger. Passionate about music and culture, Nicolas Ouellet is known for his contributions to the show Nouveaux sons on ICI Musique, where he introduces new local talents in various genres, from R&B to rap to electro. He has also hosted several youth shows on VRAK, including the music magazine PLAY. We are thrilled to welcome him to the FMG!
