GATINEAU BALLOON FESTIVAL KICKS OFF TOMORROW WITH
FLO RIDA, ALESSIA CARA, AND TALK
HEADLINING FIVE UNFORGETTABLE NIGHTS OF MUSIC
Gatineau, August 26, 2025 – The Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival (FMG) is set to launch its 38th edition tomorrow, August 27, and this year, the party starts early! From Wednesday, August 27 to Sunday, August 31, festival-goers will enjoy five nights of live shows across four stages – all included with the same 5-day festival pass.
This year’s lineup features international stars:
Flo Rida, the multi-platinum American rapper behind global hits like Low, Club Can’t Handle Me and Good Feeling, will bring his high-energy party anthems to Gatineau.
Alessia Cara, Canada’s own Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, known for Scars to Your Beautiful and Stay, returns to the stage with her soulful voice and chart-topping hits.
TALK, one of Canada’s rising stars whose breakout single Run Away to Mars became a worldwide success, promises an electrifying performance.
In addition to the headliners, the Festival offers more than 30 family-friendly activities across the site. Kids can enjoy shows by Arthur L’aventurier, Daniel Coutu, BAM Percussion, and Yannick Bergeron on the Le LAIT Stage under the big top. Admission for children 10 and under is free with a reserved ticket.
This year, the Festival also introduces ORIZON, an innovative hot-air balloon immersive experience created by 4elements in collaboration with Tourisme Québec, Tourisme Outaouais, and Desjardins.
Festival-goers will step into a virtual hot air balloon basket and pilot their balloon, alone or as a team, to reach their destination – a unique blend of adventure, storytelling, and education designed to extend the FMG experience year-round.
The Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival, presented by Loto-Québec in collaboration with Desjardins, runs from August 27 to 31, 2025, at La Baie Park in Gatineau. Tickets are on sale now at FMG2025.CA.
