An all-rap evening with IAM and the

biggest names of the Quebec rap scene

Gatineau, QC - Rap music takes center stage on Sunday, September 1st, 2024, at the 37th Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival! Souldia promises an unforgettable show featuring Quebec's biggest rap stars at La Baie Park's main stage. IAM, the legendary French rap group, will also be performing. It'll be a unique opportunity to discover or rediscover the committed universe of this group that has left its mark on several generations.


SOULDIA & GUESTS LINEUP ANNOUNCEMENT

For this special evening, Souldia has lined up some of the biggest names in Quebec rap scene to put on a memorable show on the Loto-Québec Stage at the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival. FouKi, Koriass, Jay Scott, Loud, Lost, Rymz, Shreez and Die-On will share the stage, promising an explosive showcase of the best in Quebec rap.

IAM

IAM, an iconic rap group since the 90s from Marseille in France, captivates fans with their poetic and socially conscious lyrics. IAM has played to thousands of fans at every one of their shows in Quebec, and sold millions of albums throughout their career. IAM's impact on French-language rap is profound, with signature tracks like "Je danse le mia" and the acclaimed album ''L'École du Micro d'Argent,'' widely regarded as a masterpiece in French rap, earning numerous awards. Their music transcends generations, inspiring people all around the world.

 

Let's not forget that DJ Debbie Tebbs will be closing the evening on Sunday as part of the FMG Late Nights, on the Hydro-Québec Stage.

 

LINEUP UPDATE: MIGNON BANDIT ADDED

Mignon Bandit, a versatile artist from Gatineau known for dynamic performances blending pop and electronic music, joins the Festival lineup. Catch him on the Hydro-Québec Stage on Friday, August 30th, preceding Fredz's performance. Unfortunately, Stéphanie St-Jean, originally scheduled for that evening, had to cancel due to health reasons. We wish her a quick recovery.

Over five days, the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival's three stages will feature a diverse lineup including Charlotte Cardin, Dallas Smith, Salebarbes, Jonathan Roy, Bleu Jeans Bleu, Isabelle Boulay, Dave Fenley and many more!
