THE GATINEAU HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL (FMG)
Gatineau, QC – The FMG is thrilled to announce an exciting addition to its 2025 lineup. On Thursday, August 28th, American rapper and singer Flo Rida will hit the Loto-Québec Main Stage, promising the biggest open-air party of the summer.
A global figure in the music scene, Flo Rida has racked up numerous international hits, many certified double or triple platinum. His chart-toppers include “Right Round” (featuring Ke$ha), “Club Can't Handle Me” (with David Guetta), “Good Feeling”, “Wild Ones” (featuring Sia), “Whistle”, “My House”, and “Low” (featuring T-Pain), to name a few.
The Miami-born artist has sold over 100 million singles worldwide and earned many distinctions, including five GRAMMY nominations. Known for his infectious blend of hip-hop, pop, and electro, Flo Rida is set to deliver an electrifying, hit-filled performance. A must-see for fans of parties and big hits!

After Flo Rida's set, the party keeps going with DJ Danick Bastien, who will bring La Baie Park to life with his high-energy mix and unmatched crowd-pumping skills. Seamlessly blending electro, groovy, disco, and hip-hop sounds, Danick Bastien promises an unforgettable finale to the night.

Alessia Cara (Sunday, August 31) and TALK (Friday, August 29) will also be performing at the Festival – two major shows that are sure to light up the FMG stage!

The 38th edition of the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival, presented by Loto-Québec in collaboration with Desjardins, will take place from Wednesday, August 27th to Sunday, August 31st, 2025 – and it’s shaping up to be an event to remember!
