A Rich and Vibrant Lineup for the 41st Edition
of Festival Innu Nikamu

Mani-utenam, June 17, 2025 – This morning during a special broadcast on CKAU radio, Festival Innu Nikamuunveiled the lineup for its 41st edition which is set to take place from July 30 to August 3, 2025, at its traditional and iconic site in Mani-utenam.
Staying true to its mission of showcasing Indigenous cultures, this year’s edition will once again bring together renowned artists, emerging talents, and powerful voices. “More surprises await festivalgoers, as new names will be added to this list before the festivities begin,” said Normand Jr Thirnish Pilot, Director of Innu Nikamu.
Once again this year, families will be able to enjoy the Innu Nikamuniss section, which will feature daytime programming including cultural activities, traditional content, and varied entertainment.
One of the event’s highlights will be the Pow-Wow of Uashat mak Mani-Utenam, held during Innu Nikamu on August 2 and 3. This major cultural and spiritual gathering will offer attendees the chance to explore the richness of diverse Indigenous traditions.
The 41st edition of Innu Nikamu promises to be memorable, marked by pride, diversity, and connection. The public is warmly invited to come celebrate Indigenous music and cultures in a festive and inclusive atmosphere.

ABOUT FESTVIAL INNU NIKAMU
The mission of Innu Nikamu is to promote and celebrate Innu culture through music, dance, song, and the arts. The event aims to bring together Innu communities from Québec and Labrador, along with other Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, in a spirit of sharing and mutual respect. Held every August in Mani-utenam, on the North Shore, Innu Nikamu is also recognized as one of the largest alcohol-free festivals in Canada.
