Rod Stewart, Hozier, Shania Twain, Benson Boone, and Slayer headlining Festival d’été de Québec 2025!

 

Quebec City, February 26, 2025 – Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ) is proud to unveil the lineup for its 2025 edition, an 11-day musical marathon bringing together legends, icons, and today’s most influential artists. This year’s lineup promises to be one of the most diverse and dynamic in the festival’s history. Legends such as Rod StewartShania TwainDef Leppard, and Slayer will set the FEQ stages ablaze, alongside an impressive roster of artists including Kygo, Avril Lavigne, Benson Boone, Hozier, Salebarbes, Bigflo & Oli, and reggaeton powerhouse Farruko.

Bell Stage on the Plains of Abraham

The FEQ kicks off on July 3 with the legendary Rod Stewart, preceded by Richard Marx, while 80s rock icons Glass Tiger will open the night. On July 4, pop-punk queen Avril Lavigne takes the stage, following Quebec’s favourite Simple Plan. Montreal’s rising star Chiara Savasta will open the evening. On July 5, Benson Boone, one of this year’s breakout artists, follows the vibrant Remi Wolf, with Quebec’s promising talent Julyan kicking things off. On July 6, Def Leppard brings its catalogue of hits to the Plains, preceded by American hard rockers Extreme. Canadian rock veterans April Wine will open. July 7 will have a distinctly Acadian flavour with a special 2.5-hour performance by Salebarbes, preceded by the folk-infused sound of Les Hay Babies. On July 8, French rap takes centre stage with Bigflo & Oli, supported by Quebec’s Fredz and Sarahmée. On July 9, the Electro-FEQ night welcomes Kygo, with the renowned Norwegian DJ preceded by Don DiabloSam Feldt, and Victoria Nadine, delivering an all-European program. On July 10, the folk styling of Hozier will take over, with British actress and singer Suki Waterhouse opening, followed by Chance Peña. On July 11, the raw energy of Slayer dominates the night, with Mastodon preceding and Quebec rockers Sandveiss setting the stage. On July 12, country-pop royalty Shania Twain headlines, supported by American star Maren Morris and rising talent Goldie Boutilier. Finally, on July 13, FEQ wraps up on a reggaeton note with Puerto Rican star Farruko, accompanied by Quebec’s own Cruzito. One final name is yet to be announced.

 

Double Stage: Loto-Québec Stage & Sirius XM Stage at Place George-V

Once again this year, the FEQ’s second stage setup will not be outdone, offering an outstanding lineup. The Loto-Québec Stage and its neighbour, the SiriusXM Stage, will present five performances each evening starting at 5:50 PM. Notably, this year, the double stage moves to Place George-V.

 

On July 3, the festival kicks off with a pop-filled evening led by Alessia Cara, preceded by Two FeetBillie du Page,Katie Tupper, and Meghan Oak. On July 4, the eclectic bassist Thundercat will share the stage with indie scene favourites Men I Trust, preceded by Bon EnfantUnessential Oils, and Alicia Clara. On July 5, a blues-rock night awaits with George Thorogood & The Destroyers, following performances by Matt Andersen & his band, American singer ZZ WardSpencer Mackenzie, and Buddy McNeil & The Magic Mirrors. On July 6, Sean Paul will set the stage ablaze with an explosive dancehall night, featuring ProtojeKing CruffYaadcore, and a yet-to-be-announced artist. On July 7, it’s time for a metal night with Swedish band In Flames. Before them, punk-rockers GrimSkunkSwollen TeethRouge Pompier, and Sudden Waves will fire up the crowd. On July 8, country music fans will enjoy performances by Nate SmithJade EaglesonWild RiversBrittany Kennell, and Fred Dionne. On July 9, francophone music takes centre stage with Roch VoisineBruno PelletierWilliam Cloutier, and Wendat artist Anyma Ora. The evening opens with the soothing voice of Caroline Savoie. On July 10, alternative rock legends Pixies will headline after performances by The Glorious Sons and Kurt Vile & The Violators. Earlier in the evening, Canadian band Corridor and Quebec-based group PRINCESSES will take the stage. On July 11, an electrifying night awaits with French producer Bob Sinclar, along with American acts Sickick and Cheat Codes, preceded by Veggiwith Social Club opening the night. On July 12, Ice Spice will bring the Loto-Québec Stage to life with a high-energy hip-hop night featuring Aunty RayzorDijahSBHawa B, and a yet-to-be-revealed artist.

Finally, on July 13, the festival will celebrate Quebec’s rich musical heritage with "D’eux," a tribute to Céline Dion’s iconic album (artists to be announced). Isabelle BoulaySafia Nolin, and Les Chansonneurs de Petite-Vallée will join this memorable lineup, with Cindy Bédard opening the evening.

 

Hydro-Québec Stage at Place de l’Assemblée-Nationale

Entirely free, the Hydro-Québec Stage will host an eclectic lineup, once again dedicating several nights to world music

 

On July 3, a festive evening kicks off with Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp, blending afrobeat and krautrock rhythms, preceded by Los Bitchos and Petite Amie. On July 4, Quebec icon Marjo will take the stage after performances by Les Deuxluxes and Allô Fantôme. On July 5, it’s time for The Cat Empire, supported by Sax Machine and La Chiva Gantiva. On July 6, indie-pop vibes will fill the air with Choses SauvagesAkira & le Sabbat, and Virginie B. On July 7, Aliocha Schneider will deliver his heartfelt folk-pop following performances by Laura Cahen and Soleil Launière. On July 8, Lemon Bucket Orkestra takes charge, preceded by La Sra. Tomasa and Les Toches. On July 9, Melbourne Ska Orchestra will get the crowd dancing alongside Stogie T and Diogo Ramos. On July 10, an all-Quebec night features performances by Rau_ZeMarie-Pierre Arthur, and Peter Peter. On July 11, French artist Mezerg will bring his innovative electronic music to the stage, with more artists to be announced. On July 12, a reggae-dancehall night awaits with Blaiz Fayah and Mo’ Kalamity, with rapper Waahli opening the evening. Finally, on July 13, the festival will conclude with a grand African music night, headlined by Def Mama DefFULU MIZIKI KOLEKTIV, and Les Mamans du Congo & Rrobin.

 

Crave Stage at Place D’Youville

FEQ’s second free stage, the Crave Stage, returns to Place D’Youville, offering a diverse mix of musical genres.

On July 7, a vibrant cumbia evening features Frente Cumbiero, Sara et Rebecca, and NUNNEJuly 8 sees the bold universe of VioleTT Pi, with post-punk by Alix Fernz and a striking opener from Angine de PoitrineJuly 9 presents an indie-folk francophone night with Velours Velours, Émile Bourgault, and Jeanne CôtéJuly 10 brings rap from Wic Whitney, preceded by Léonie Gray in R&B soul and BéLi in electro-pop. July 11 enchants with refined pop from Bibi Club, following folk by Linka Moja and soft pop by ThaïsJuly 12 delivers indie-rock with comment debord, Kinkead, and Douance, while July 13 closes the festival with the folk universe of Nico Paulo, preceded by Wyatt C. Extras FEQ: Late-Night Shows at the Military Drill Hall

Electro late nights are back at the Manège Militaire, bringing the Extras FEQ with shows every evening starting at 10:30 PM. This year’s lineup kicks off on July 3 with Regularfantasy and MVNGO, followed on July 4 by Domenoand Theo feelsVanille and Clara D will take over on July 5, while Fafa Khan and Space Cam light up July 6. On July 7, French artist Calling Marian and Totalement Sublime will set the stage, followed by The Funk Hunters and Noche on July 8July 9 highlights Sam Feldt, with another artist yet to be announced. Sam Blacky and Esther Côtéwill take over on July 10, with BRADEAZY and Suray Sertin following on July 11K. Gianni and Roxy Ferrari will heat up the penultimate night on July 12, and finally, Moonshine with San Farafina will bring the festival to a spectacular close on July 13.

 

Admission

The FEQ pass is on sale at feq.ca for $165 CAD (taxes included, delivery fees extra). Groupe Voyages Québec packages are also available. Front-Stage Zone, Bell Signature Zone, and Jardin tickets will go on sale on March 19. Fans can subscribe to the FEQ newsletter to stay updated on additional sales.

 

The BLEUFEU Pass, available for $315 CAD, offers several perks: an 11-day general admission bracelet for FEQ 2025, a general admission pass for Festival Fono (September 11-13, lineup TBA), a $50 discount on a show of choice at Impérial Bell or Grizzly Fuzz, and the option to renew the pass for 2026.

FEQ actively works to reduce its ecological footprint. Since 2014, the Festival has been striving for carbon neutrality by offsetting its greenhouse gas emissions through Planetair. The Festival is committed to recycling: every can collected on-site is sorted, cleaned, and returned for deposit by a dedicated team. FEQ also promotes sustainable mobility through its partnership with RTC and by providing Desjardins bike parking. Additionally, the Festival has created a Sustainable Festivalgoer Guide, offering green actions to minimize attendees’ environmental impact. FEQ received Biosphere certification in 2024.
