New Additions to FEQ: El Malilla, Ty Dolla $ign, Armani White,
Wyclef Jean and More!
Québec, May 29, 2025 – BLEUFEU is proud to unveil the final additions to the 2025 Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ) lineup. This last wave of announcements brings exciting surprises, including Wyclef Jean, who will replace Sean Paul, and American rapper and producer Ty Dolla $ign, stepping in for Ice Spice. Also joining the program: Mexican reggaeton sensation El Malilla, who will heat up the stage before Farruko on Latin night, the charismatic Armani White, Toronto funk-pop group The Free Label, Swiss rapper Nathalie Froehlich, singer-songwriter Alli Walker, and Montreal rockabilly rebel Bloodshot Bill. These additions enrich an already packed lineup, confirming that the 2025 FEQ will be more eclectic than ever.
“The 2025 FEQ lineup is now complete, and we’re thrilled with the new additions like Wyclef Jean, Ty Dolla $ign, and El Malilla,” says Louis Bellavance, VP of Content and Artistic Direction at BLEUFEU. “Cancellations are an inevitable part of any music festival, but we’re proud of how we’ve adapted while staying true to the spirit of the original themed nights. Each festival venue will once again offer a distinct and immersive experience, allowing fans to fully enjoy the atmosphere and essence of FEQ.”
Final Schedule Updates for FEQ 2025
July 5 – Loto-Québec Stage, George-V Square
The blues-rock evening headlined by George Thorogood has been adjusted: JUNO-nominated rising star Spencer Mackenzie will now take the 7:10 PM slot originally held by ZZ Ward, who had to withdraw. Montreal’s own Bloodshot Bill, a punk-infused honky tonk multi-instrumentalist, joins the lineup to kick things off at 5:50 PM.
July 6 – CRAVE Stage, Place d’Youville
Swiss rapper Nathalie Froehlich will open the night at 6:00 PM, visiting FEQ as part of an artist exchange with Switzerland’s Paléo Festival. In return, 2024 FEQ Espoir Award winners Rau_Ze will represent Québec at Paléo this summer.
July 6 – Loto-Québec Stage, George-V Square

Ty Dolla $ign, a major force in contemporary R&B and collaborator to Beyoncé, Drake, and Post Malone, will now headline in place of Ice Spice.

The Latin-themed closing night kicks off with reggaeton-trap phenom El Malilla, a breakout star in Mexico, opening for Farruko.

A Sustainable FEQ – In Collaboration with Rio Tinto
FEQ is a festival committed to reducing its environmental footprint in every possible way. Since 2014, we’ve proudly been working toward carbon neutrality — meaning that greenhouse gas emissions generated by the event are offset through Planetair. The Festival also places great emphasis on recycling: every can collected on our sites is sorted, cleaned, and returned for deposit by a dedicated recycling team working in our on-site sorting center. FEQ also promotes sustainable mobility through its partnership with RTC (public transit), and by offering Desjardins bike parking zones on festival grounds. In addition, we’ve created a Responsible Festivalgoer Guide, which encourages green practices to help minimize environmental impact. In 2024, FEQ earned Biosphere certification for its sustainability efforts.
