KINGSTON NOW HAS ITS OWN COLUMBUS CAFÉ & CO.

French multinational coffee chain Columbus Café & Co. continues its pan-Canadian drive with a second den in Ontario.

Kingston – March 7th 2024 – French multinational coffee chain Columbus Café & Co has just opened a new café in Ontario. It's in the "limestone city" that Columbus Café & Co has decided to offer the authentic Parisian café experience, with more openings to come in Quebec and Ontario during the second half of 2024.

Columbus Café & Co is proud to set up shop in a forward-looking, innovation-driven city like Kingston, which is why the coffee shop is delighted to welcome Kingston’s very own mayor Bryan Paterson, to come and cut the ribbon at the end of the day, fori nauguration of Kingston's new den, around 5pm.

With another establishment already open on Adelaide Street in Toronto, and several counters in Indigo and Chapters stores, the opening of the Kingston branch symbolizes a real desire to establish the world's friendliest coffee shop, not only in Quebec, but across Canada. Several other openings are planned for the province of Ontario, with the idea to eventually expand to Western Canada. In light of this westward thinking , Nicolas Riché, CEO of Wagram Finances, shares that "Canada is an important market for us, offering strong growth opportunities. We opened our first branch in Montreal in 2020, with the aim of establishing ourselves first in Quebec, and continuing the movement nationwide, starting with Ontario."
