MONTREAL, QC - May 18, 2023 - Humanity’s future is inextricably intertwined with that of the natural world: what we do to the planet we live on, we do to ourselves. This fundamental truth is at the core of David Suzuki’s life work as Canada's best-known voice for environmental and social activism. We are therefore delighted to announce that Suzuki will host an eye-opening conversation with his daughter Severn Cullis-Suzuki, Executive Director of the David Suzuki Foundation, at C2 Montréal on May 26.
A multi-award-winning scientist, environmentalist and broadcaster, David Suzuki has made it his mission to help humanity understand, appreciate, respect and protect nature. A culture and environmental activist, Severn Cullis-Suzuki advocates for future generations, speaking extensively about the current generation’s legacy and about returning to our deepest human values.
At the conference “A conversation with the Suzukis,” the father and daughter team will dive into how and why environmental justice and intergenerational justice are deeply interwoven, and what that means for all of us.
