About Bébé symphonique
The Bébé symphonique project draws on the richness and power of orchestral music to create privileged moments of connection between babies and their parents, while fostering the development of toddlers. Based on seven instrumental pieces composed by Simon Leclerc and performed by the OSM, Bébé symphonique is an original idea by Nicolas Lemieux, who leads the artistic direction, supported by host Marie-Claude Barette.
Combining 2D animation, 3D animation and stop-motion animation, the 33-minute multimedia show Bébé symphonique, signed by Marcella Grimaux (Noisy Head Studio), transports babies from birth to 18 months and their parents into a wonderful universe of shapes, colors and textures designed to capture their attention. To the rhythm of the music, distant nebulae, clouds of stardust, colorful marbles and crafts perform captivating choreographies designed to playfully stimulate the sight and hearing of very young children.
The Bébé symphonique project also includes a 33-minute music CD with French and English booklet, a beautiful photo book accompanied by ludic and informative texts in French, English and Spanish, as well as an educational magazine.
